15px;">1999年，郭丽英从老家哈尔滨调入深圳，2年后罹患乳腺癌。在丈夫和女儿的关心和鼓励下，郭丽英以良好的心态积极配合治疗，病情得到有效控制。擅长小提琴演奏的她积极乐观，经常去参加市里的各种文艺演出和慰问癌症病友的演出，因此结识了很多同样命运的朋友。半年后，郭丽英回到了工作岗位，如今，这个当初被医院判定为晚期的癌症患者，已经走过了19个年头。</span></span></p><p><span 15px;">2006年1月，郭丽英与“2005年度感动中国人物”“爱心大使”丛飞代表深圳出席在北京举办的“全国首届癌症康复者文艺汇演”，他们的精彩表演获得了热烈掌声，两个人也收获了友谊。在返回深圳的飞机上，丛飞与郭丽英相约：“郭大姐，等我病好了，我们在深圳组建一个癌症病友艺术团。”然而，103天后，丛飞被病魔无情地夺走了生命，离开了他深爱的公益慈善事业，那次演出成为了丛飞的人生绝唱。</span></span></p><p><span 15px;">郭丽英在悲痛中默默承诺：“再苦再难，只要自己还活着，就一定把这样一个艺术团办起来！”为了完成这个承诺，当时近60岁的她四处奔走，在她的不懈努力下，许多爱心团体、企事业单位和爱心人士纷纷伸出援手，支持艺术团的建设。经过长达6年的努力，2012年，取名为“凤凰涅槃”的艺术团正式注册成立，寓意“浴火重生”，表达了团员们对生命的渴望、对生活的信心和对艺术的追求。</span></span></p><p><span 15px;">艺术团建立之初，没有经费，没有办公室，没有排练场，没有艺术大腕、没有挂靠单位，历经的坎坷，可想而知。请老师、租借道具或购置演出服装，很多时候是团长郭丽英个人垫付，最多时曾经垫付了数万元。为了节省经费，她很少打出租车，经常在公交车上睡过站。团友们都知道，她只有坐在车上的时候才能稍稍休息一会儿。</span></span></p><p><span leaf=""
